Keep your China business moving forward.

You already have Chinese contacts. The problem is that things have slowed down — quotes haven't arrived, questions go unanswered, and it's hard to tell whether "we'll check" means today or next month. Befeus picks up where your inbox stops: Mandarin calls, WeChat messages and patient follow-up, handled from Shanghai.

Why communication often stalls

Most China work doesn't fail dramatically. It fades. A quotation that never arrives. A specification question that gets a different answer each time. A supplier who was responsive until the deposit, and slower after it.

None of this is unusual, and none of it needs a crisis response. It needs someone who can call, ask, and keep asking — politely, in Mandarin, in the right channel — until things move again.

How we can help

  • Mandarin phone calls — when email has gone quiet or the matter is easier said than typed.
  • WeChat communication — a normal part of day-to-day business communication in China.
  • Email drafting and follow-up in Chinese — including the polite-but-firm third reminder.
  • Meeting coordination and notes — scheduling, agendas, and a written summary afterwards.
  • Getting documents and information — certificates, specifications, updated quotations, photos.
  • Clarifying misunderstandings — early, before a small confusion becomes a commercial dispute.
  • Commercial follow-up — quotations, samples, orders, deliveries, payment milestones.
  • Limited negotiation support — preparing positions, clarifying what the other side actually said, and following through on what was agreed. Major commitments remain your decisions.

On your behalf, or as Befeus

Option 1

On your behalf.

We can communicate with your contacts using the background, objectives and messaging agreed with you in advance.

Option 2

As Befeus.

We can also approach contacts as your China-based business support provider, with the role agreed in advance.

Either way, you see what was said — in English or German, as agreed, with a short note on what it means and what happens next. Befeus remains an independent service provider in all communication; the working arrangement for each project is set out in its agreed scope.

What this is not

  • Not a translation service.

Translation happens along the way, but the service is moving the work forward, not converting words.

  • Not pressure or tricks.

We ask, remind and escalate politely. Business relationships are easier to keep than to rebuild, and we work accordingly.

  • Not legal, tax or financial advice.

Where a question is regulatory or contractual, we can help identify and coordinate a qualified professional.

Two ways to arrange it

Per task

A defined piece of follow-up.

One supplier, one order, one negotiation — scoped and quoted. Most new clients start here.

Monthly

A regular block of communication work.

If the tasks keep coming, that's the Ongoing China Support service.

Common questions

Can you call my supplier about a problem?

Yes. Tell us the background and what you want to achieve — we'll confirm the approach with you before anyone calls.

Will my contacts know Befeus is involved?

That's agreed with you in advance. In most cases we introduce ourselves plainly as your business support provider; if your situation requires a different approach, tell us and we'll agree it before anyone makes contact.

What time zone do you work in?

China time (UTC+8). Calls are scheduled to overlap with your working day wherever we can.

Is what we discuss confidential?

Yes. We treat project information as confidential and use or share it only as needed to handle your enquiry or the agreed work, as described in our Privacy Policy.
